September Fest in the Nepliget, Budapest

Where? At Nepliget, with blue underground or by tram number 1
One emblematic programme of the festival is the Stew Making Competition. Besides the competing teams, mayors (on Saturday) and Members of Parliament (on Sunday) will also demonstrate their cooking skills.
Those not participating in the competition can taste stew at the Stew Show. The show will be held in Stew Square, where restaurant chefs will be offering over 30 truly special stews to those interested and hungry. Sample portions of 0.2 litres will be served at prices from HUF 300.

For three days Feszt-goers will be entertained by more than a hundred performers playing on four stages. There will be pop, rock, jazz, and country concerts.
While the adults are enjoying good food and modern culture the children will not be bored either. They can do crafts, make clay movies, and play various interactive games, as well as have fun with Peter Levente and Richie the Clown or sea a fairy play. Families will find it easy to stay for the whole day as the Feszt will have baby feeding and changing rooms, as well as a child supervision facility.
The PeriferiArt exhibition is one more must to see.
Attractions of SzeptEmber Feszt 2009 will also include street music, veteran cars, a ski show, a wine and pálinka street, and shows with various Hungarian all-time highs.

Grape Harvest Celebration in the Skanzen, Szentendre

Admission : 1400HUF for adults, 700HUF for students/seniors, 350HUF family ticket
Where? In the Open Air Museum of Szentendre
How to get to Skanzen from Budapest? There are direct buses from Madach Square, Budapest to the Skanzen at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00. Cost (returnway) 800HUF for adults, 400HUF for children, under 2 it is free.
You can watch the traditional way of making wine in the Open Air Museum, grape pressing techniques, must tasting, folk dancing, and many well-known winemaker will be present. 27 wineries will be present and you can check out the new exhibition about Northern Hungary

The Wine Festival in Budapest

Tokaj Wine region

There will be two major winefestival, one in September in Mad a small town near Tokaj. Mad is the part of Tokaj wine region, 5-6 cellar will be open. Contact us for transfer prices as we can offer single day tour from 12000 HUF only
The other festival is in Erdobenye, on 10th Oct with open cellars, gastronomy. We also can offer transfer on that.
Etyek Gastronomic Festival
On 25 and 26th Sept, in Etyek, near Budapest.Admission is 800HUF/day, there are Volanbusz from Kelenfoldi train station , where you can get by normal bus number 7 or trains.
