Hegyalja is a classic rock music festival in Rakamaz in the Tokaj wine region, around 240kms from Budapest. The festival held annually in the tourist camp of Rakamaz near the river Tisza.

Camps and accommodation : There are two sites for camping on the venue of the festival (Tisza campsite and Hegyalja campsite). The day ticket’s price does not contain the possibility to enter the campsites, but the season tickets do. You can check on the festival map where they can be found. If you do not want to carry your packs so far from the station or the bus stop, then you can use the Borsodi double-decker for free. Thank to last years’ development, the Hegyalja campsite has the same standard as Tisza: 24 hour guard, good lights, toilets and showers.

HEINEKEN BALATON SOUND FESTIVAL is to be held for the third time in 2009 at Hungary's fanciest beach, Zamardi, balaton, along the shore of Lake Balaton. Five major and several minor venues await festival-goers twenty-hours a day with a wide choice of musical programmes.Jazz ensembles provide sonic background for your sunbathing.

The biggest music and cultural festival in central and eastern europe on the island of the danube in budapest.

How to get there ? If you arrive by plane, take the minibus service, easy and cheap to go directly to the Sziget.
There are party trains from France, Netherland and Germany in 2009, so you can join the party before the official opening.
