Northern Hungary
Northern Hungary is a bit further from Budapest, but worth a visit. The magnificent castle and fortress ruins stand through the hundred years, old churches, museums and many spa bath are welcome the visitor. Northern Hungary is home of two of best wine regions, eger and tokaj and you can find such gems as World Heritage site of Aggtelek caves.
Budapest
Budapest is the capital and best known city of Hungary. A place you can not miss. The metropolis on the two side of the danube , the hills and plains make it one of the most beautiful cities in europe.

Western Transdanubia
Lying from Budapest to the austrian border, and includes cities like Gyor, Sopron, Szombathely or Veszprem. Lots of historical places and not to miss sights like the Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma

Southern Great Plains
South of Hortobagy, there are still plenty of plains, following the river Tisza, to Szeged, Bekescsaba, home of the hungarian sausage and Gyula the city of thermal bath.
