Fertod-Hansag National Park

The Fertod Hansag National Park is located on the border of Hungary and Austria. Lake Fertod and the surrounding national park offers many opportunity for birdwatching, fishing, boating. The bike route is well paved, many signs, wide bridges, so great to ride through. The region is beautiful if you are keen on natural habitat. Part of the route goes into Austria as well.

Zemplen mountains, Tokaj, Northern Hungary

The most beautiful part of Northern Hungary, the wilderness of Zemplen mountains, the sweet wines of Tokaj, fortresses and mansions. The route is hilly, but the views and the amazing ruins of fortresses on hilltops are great balance. Tokaj wineregion is next to Zemplen mountains, so why not visit the World Heritage Site for a visit in local winecellars.

Lake Tisza

Lake Tisza is the second largest sweet water lake in Hungary. Quite popular during summer. The whole lake can be cycled around (120km) but the most popular route is Tiszafured-Abadszalok-Kiskore-Sarud-Poroszlo-Tiszababolna-Egyek-Tiszafured. There are many guesthouses, bike rentals, bike repair shops, actually there are 27 bike centers around the lake with more than 500 cycles to rent. Lake Tisza also has many watersport rental places for jetskies, kayaks.

Quiet Transdanubia

Ride through one of the most relaxing places in Hungary. Small villages like Szenna, Cserenfa, Galosfa with only a couple of hundred habitat, but really warm hospitality. There are no traffic, but superb forests and amazing small villages.
